JIVE connection to database failed

Hi,
I tried to share a Tango VM instance in order to access it via VNC.
It can be reached remotely.

I changed its network configuration giving it a public IP address and changed correspondingly /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname files as well.

I set the environment variable TANGO_HOST with actual hostname:10000.
Trying to start JIVE I got an error message “JIVE connection to database failed” as in the enclosed screenshot.

What else should I change in the configuration?

Hi,

I think you can try to change the value of TANGO_HOST in /etc/tangorc file too.
