Unifying the Tango documentation

Dear All,

as decided at the last Tango meeting work is ongoing to unify and improve the Tango documentation.

Unification will involve moving the documentation to a common format (Sphinx). A first version of this is being prepared by 3-Controls and can be viewed here :

A Write-the-doc Camp will be organised in the Grenoble area in May to work on improving the documentation. This Doc Camp will be financed by the Collaboration and any one who would like to contribute and is prepared to write documentation for a week can join us (free travel and board and lodging).

Please let us know via the forum or contact me directly if you would like to participate. In the meantime please provide feedback to the ongoing documentation project or submit a pull request to the github repository:

Hi All,

please sign up for the Write-the-doc camp in Grenoble if you are interested in joining us. To join us you need to have the following qualities:

  • experience with Tango or at least have tried it
  • motivated to improve and write documentation
  • ability to write or correct English
  • like mountains, (French) food and wine

The code camp will be from the 2 May to 5 May in the Grenoble area. If you can join us please do so. The Tango Collaboration will pay for your accommodation and travel inside Europe. If you are coming from further the collaboration will contribute to your travel. Please send me an email if you can join us. The more the merrier!
